What areas do you service on the Sunshine Coast?

We cover the entire Sunshine Coast region from Noosa down to Caloundra, including Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Buderim, Nambour, and Coolum Beach. Our teams are based locally, so we can usually accommodate same-week bookings across all suburbs. How do I book a cleaning?

You can book by calling us directly, sending an email, or filling out the contact form on our website. We will get back to you within a few hours during business days to confirm your booking time and provide a quote. For urgent or same-day requests, calling is the fastest option.

What are your rates?

Our rates depend on the type of cleaning, the size of the property, and any specific requirements you have. We provide free, no-obligation quotes before every job so there are no surprises. As a general guide, a standard three-bedroom house clean starts from around $180, but we will always confirm the exact price before we begin.

Are you insured?

Yes, Sunshine Coast Cleaners carries full public liability insurance and worker compensation coverage. This protects you and your property in the unlikely event of any damage or incident during a clean. We are happy to provide proof of insurance on request, which is especially useful for commercial clients and property managers.

What cleaning products do you use?

We use a combination of professional-grade and eco-friendly cleaning products that are effective without being harsh on surfaces or the environment. Given that many Sunshine Coast homes have septic systems, we are mindful of what goes down the drain. If you have specific product preferences or sensitivities, just let us know and we will accommodate them.

House Cleaning

How often should I book a regular clean?

Most of our Sunshine Coast clients book fortnightly cleans, which keeps on top of dust, sand, and general buildup without overdoing it. Weekly cleans suit larger families, pet owners, or homes close to the beach where sand tracks in constantly. We also offer monthly deep cleans for people who handle day-to-day tidying themselves but want a thorough professional clean regularly.

Do I need to be home during the clean?

Not at all. Many of our regular clients provide a key or access code so our team can clean while they are at work. We treat every property with care and respect, and our cleaners are fully vetted and insured. If you prefer to be home, that is perfectly fine too.

Can I request specific tasks?

Absolutely. We work from a standard checklist but are always happy to adjust based on your priorities. Whether you need extra attention on the kitchen, want the inside of the oven done, or need ceiling fans wiped down, just let us know when you book and we will build it into the job.

What if I need to reschedule?

We understand plans change, especially on the Coast where the weather can shift quickly. We ask for at least 24 hours notice for rescheduling so we can offer your slot to another client. If you give us less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee may apply, but we try to be reasonable and work with our regular clients.

Bond & End of Lease

Do you guarantee the bond back?

Yes, we offer a bond-back guarantee on all end-of-lease cleans. If the property manager identifies any cleaning issues during the final inspection, we will return and address them at no extra cost within 72 hours. This guarantee is one of the main reasons property managers and real estate agents on the Sunshine Coast recommend us to their tenants.

How far in advance should I book a bond clean?

We recommend booking at least one to two weeks before your lease end date. Bond cleans are our busiest service, particularly at the end of each month and during peak rental turnover periods. Booking early ensures you get your preferred date and gives us time to schedule the right team for the size of your property.

What does bond cleaning include?

Our bond clean covers everything a property manager will check during the final inspection. This includes a full kitchen deep clean with oven and rangehood, bathroom descaling and mould removal, all floors mopped and vacuumed, window sills and tracks, light switches, skirting boards, and internal window cleaning. We follow the standard RTA condition report checklist used across Queensland.

What if the property manager requests a re-clean?

Under our bond-back guarantee, we will return within 72 hours to address any specific items flagged by the property manager at no additional cost. We ask that you forward the inspection report to us so we know exactly what needs attention. In our experience, re-cleans are rare because we clean to the RTA checklist from the start.

Commercial

Can you clean outside business hours?

Yes, and most of our commercial clients prefer it that way. We offer early morning, evening, and weekend cleaning schedules so your office or retail space is fresh and ready when staff and customers arrive. Our Maroochydore and Nambour commercial teams are experienced with after-hours access procedures and security requirements.

Do you provide consumables?

We can supply and restock consumables including toilet paper, hand towels, hand soap, and bin liners as part of your regular cleaning contract. This is included in most of our commercial packages and saves you the hassle of managing supplies yourself. We source quality Australian-made products where possible.

How do you handle security access?

We work with whatever system you have in place, whether that is key lockboxes, alarm codes, swipe cards, or building management access. All access details are stored securely and only shared with the specific team members assigned to your premises. We are happy to sign confidentiality agreements and can coordinate with your building manager or security provider.

Specialty Services

How long do carpets take to dry after cleaning?

With our hot water extraction method, most carpets are dry within four to six hours depending on ventilation and humidity. The Sunshine Coast climate actually helps, as good airflow and warmth speed up drying times considerably. We recommend opening windows and turning on ceiling fans after the clean. We can also schedule carpet cleans in the morning so your carpets are dry by the time you get home from work.

How often should coastal windows be cleaned?

For properties close to the beach, especially in areas like Mooloolaba, Coolum Beach, and Noosa Heads, we recommend professional window cleaning every four to six weeks. Salt spray builds up quickly and etches into glass over time if left unattended, which can cause permanent damage. Properties further from the shore, like those in Buderim or Nambour, can generally go eight to twelve weeks between cleans.
